1. The Service

ScamShield AI is an AI-powered tool that provides informational risk and trust assessments of content you submit (websites, messages, offers, etc.). The Service does not provide legal, financial, or law-enforcement advice.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 18 years old, or of legal age in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Send spam, malware, or attempt to probe, scan, or breach the Service's security.
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service or its outputs.
• Use reports to defame, harass, or publicly accuse individuals or organizations.

4. AI Outputs & Accuracy

Risk and trust scores are AI-generated estimates and may contain errors or misclassifications. A "looks safe" result does not guarantee legitimacy; a "high risk" result does not guarantee fraud. You are responsible for your prompts, inputs, and how you act on outputs, and for verifying accuracy before relying on a report. The Service is not a substitute for professional advice or law-enforcement investigation.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service. You represent that you have the right to submit the content. We may remove or refuse content that violates these Terms, and may suspend repeat infringers.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, models, branding, and documentation, is owned by H & R Morris Consulting and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.

7. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for our refund window.

8. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete your data after a reasonable export window.

10. Disclaimers & Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose). Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including lost profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where such limitation is not permitted by law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless H & R Morris Consulting against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which H & R Morris Consulting is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
